This web site is dedicated to those who have touched my life and my heart. These people fought a tough battle and some are still fighting. They did not fight in a war per say and they were not in 9/11. But they too are heroes of a different kind. They showed me what courage really is and to embrace life as it would be my last day every moment. Embrace Serenity is here for those who need support. It doesn't matter if you have cancer, know someone with cancer or you are a survivor of cancer. It doesn't matter what kind of cancer you have. Cancer is cancer and we all need information and support.
The power of information is the power to survive and to support others in need!
My goal and reason for doing this site is to inform people of all the latest information possible and to give support for those in need of support. No one should have to deal with cancer alone. I personally know how cancer can strike and the tough journey that some have to face and go through. My Father was diagnosed with Colon Cancer on May 21, 1999 and passed away on July 7, 2001. He is the driving force in which I am doing this site. To help others find the information necessary for understanding the type of cancer they have or a loved one has. To find support is so important knowing there is someone out there that cares, understands and companionate in helping through the tough journey you must face. Cancer does not discriminate on who it will strike. It doesn't matter if you are a man nor women nor child. It doesn't care if you are black or white or any other culture. Cancer will strike anyone and those that it strikes also affects their loved ones as well. Everyone is affected in this disease and that hopefully one day will be wiped out completely.
We all live in hope and as long as there is hope there is life!
So hopefully this site will be the means for people to share a story of their loved one or an experience of what they went threw to help others deal and cope with cancer.
